SAFES EN-4
With security products of class EN-4, the door and body are completely filled with special concrete. The safe closes with two certified locks according to EN 1300 class B, resistance RU 120/180. Safes assigned to security class EN-4 have tested burglary protection. These certified safes have a badge inside - the certificate - which provides information about who / where the security product was tested. Independent test institutes (e.g. VdS, ESSA, VDMA etc.) carry out the tests according to criteria set across Europe. Every safe that has a certification has been thoroughly checked and meets these criteria. According to the test results, the safes are classified according to resistance levels - unit RU (resistant units). This is done so that burglars do not receive any information about how much time was spent opening the safe.
During the tests, the safes are processed with mechanical, electrical and thermal tools with which unauthorized persons could try to open the safe. These include, for example, sledge hammers, drills, angle grinders or flame cutters.
In security level EN-4, weapons and ammunition can be stored together in the security container in Germany.
