A safe with a tested double-bit lock high security lock (class A according to EN 1300 or class B according to EN 1300) is user-friendly - simply unlock with the double-bit key, which is included in duplicate in the scope of delivery. And if the safe key is withdrawn, then the safe is definitely locked again.
The safe with key lock could even be in a damp room, as the moisture does not affect the double-bit lock.
For people who don't feel like electronic dependency and battery changes and who don't like to memorize numbers, unlocking the safe with a key is the optimal solution. That is why the double-bit lock is very popular with security safes despite all the technical possibilities. It is also very robust and reliable, which should not be underestimated.
Unfortunately, the safe key is relatively large and the question always arises as to where it is best kept. The double-bit key can also be misplaced or lost. In the latter case, the second key l helps. If parts of the key bit or the whole key break when opening the safe, then you will not get any further without the help of a specialist. He can decide whether a new key needs to be produced or whether the entire lock needs to be replaced.

Wertschutzschränke mit Schlüsselschloss
Ein Wertschutzschrank mit geprüftem Doppelbartschloss-Hochsicherheitsschloss (Klasse A nach EN 1300 oder Klasse B nach EN 1300) ist benutzerfreundlich – einfach mit dem Doppelbartschlüssel aufsperren, der in zweifacher Ausfertigung im Lieferumfang enthalten ist. Und wird der Tresorschlüssel abgezogen, dann ist der Wertschutztresor definit wieder verschlossen.
Der Wertschutztresor mit Schlüsselschloss könnte sogar in einem feuchten Raum stehen, da die Feuchtigkeit dem Doppelbartschloss nichts ausmacht.
Für Personen, die keine Lust auf elektronische Abhängigkeit und Batteriewechsel haben und sich ungern Zahlen merken wollen, ist das Aufsperren des Wertschutzschrankes mittels Schlüssels die optimale Lösung. Daher ist das Doppelbartschloss trotz aller technischen Möglichkeiten bei Wertschutztresoren sehr beliebt. Außerdem ist es sehr robust und zuverlässig, was nicht unterschätzt werden soll.
Leider ist der Tresorschlüssel relativ groß und es stellt sich immer die Frage, wo er am besten aufgehoben wird. Auch kann der Doppelbartschlüssel verlegt werden oder verloren gehen. Im letzteren Fall hilft der Zweitschlüssel. Falls bei der Öffnung des Wertschutzschrankes Teile des Schlüsselbartes oder der ganze Schlüssel brechen sollten, dann wird man ohne die Hilfe eines Fachmannes nicht weiterkommen. Er kann entscheiden, ob eine neue Schlüsselanfertigung zu erfolgen hat oder ob das gesamte Schloss ausgetauscht werden muss.
