SAFES WITH 30 MINUTES FIRE PROTECTION
With the 30-minute fire protection for safes, a distinction is made between whether the content is paper (label "P") or data carrier (label "DIS"). A safe with 30 minutes of fire protection is particularly safe, as it usually also has a tested burglar protection. There are various tests that are subject to strict regulations. Fireproof safes with 30 minutes of fire protection receive a badge, the certificate, which can be found inside the fire protection safe. On it you can read the type of check the safe was used for.
Tests for paper
UL test (Underwriters Laboratory)
The fireproof safe that is filled with paper documents is coming in a special furnace. The temperature shows 843°C and the inside temperature must stay half an hour below 177°C.

Test for data carriers
(ETL - Fire Testing)
The fireproof safe that is filled with data carriers comes into a special fire place. The temperature shows 843°C and the internal temperature must stay below 177°C for one hour.
Wertschutzschrank mit 30 Minuten Feuerschutz
Beim 30-minütigem Feuerschutz für Wertschutzschränke wird unterschieden, ob es sich beim Inhalt um Papier (Kennzeichnung „P“) oder Datenträger (Kennzeichnung „DIS“) handelt. Ein Wertschutzschrank mit 30 Minuten Feuerschutz ist besonders sicher, da er meistens auch über einen geprüften Einbruchschutz verfügt.
